40-year-old thief falls from 4 meters, hospitalized in serious condition!

A 40-year-old Albanian thief was rushed to hospital after falling from the roof of a house: the man is in serious condition.

In the late evening of Saturday 12 February, a thief of Albanian origins fell from the roof of a villa located in Pozzuolo Martesana , a town in the province of Milan . According to reports, the 40-year-old suffered numerous injuries after crashing into the asphalt and is currently in hospital in critical condition .

On the basis of the information released so far by the police, it seems that the thief exploited the absence of the owners of the house, who went out for dinner, to sneak inside the house. The man, in fact, was about to break into a window when he realized that the owners had already returned home. 

At this juncture, the 40-year-old quickly left the balcony and attempted to reach the roof , clinging to a gutter. As he tried to climb, however, the gutter gave way and the thief crashed to the ground after making a flight of about four meters.

Following the fall, the criminal was assisted by the owners of the house who, suspicious of the loud noises, found the man lying on the ground, slumped and in pain. The owners also promptly alerted 118 and the carabinieri .

Paramedics assisted the thief who was taken to hospital in serious condition due to the trauma and injuries caused by the fall. Despite the criticality of his clinical picture, it has been reported that the 40-year-old is not in danger of life .
